Pasi Keskitalo, Entrepreneur
I graduated from high school, specialising in foreign trade in the late 1980s, and got my first job at Aurinkosuoja Auri as a salesperson in the 1990s. I sold curtain solutions with a focus on custom-made products.
After that, I worked as Iruta's sales manager and we brought standard-sized pleated curtains and roller blinds to the supermarkets. Since then, I have been an entrepreneur in the same field.
I have strong experience with chain businesses and I have seen many boom-and-bust cycles.
I have been privileged enough to see the biggest changes close by in both Europe and the Nordic countries while working with the biggest players in the sector. All this experience is available today to my customers and networks.
I put my heart and soul into my work. I wouldn’t want to do anything else. I thank my loved ones for their understanding that on weekdays, work issues such as developing new innovative products often have my attention. Trips to factories and customer meetings take a big chunk of my daily life. This is how it should be because meaningful business is based on working together with people. Fishing, my cottage, nature and fitness provide a good balance and peace of mind in my everyday life. I make sure they are adequately included in my weekly schedule.

I come from Estonia and studied logistics and transport at Tallinn University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I had an internship in the US and previously I have also lived in Ireland for six months.
I ended up in Finland and as an employee of TecDec Ltd about three years ago through a recruitment agency. Our company is small, so my job description is very diverse. I handle sales orders, customer inquiries, purchase orders, marketing, and many other tasks.
The best part of my job at TecDec Ltd is the great team spirit of our small team. We have a nice atmosphere and environment to work in. In addition, each day brings new and interesting challenges. The sun protection industry is changing and developing rapidly, so it provides a great opportunity to continuously increase your professional skills.
In my free time, I practice Estonian folk dancing and running. Plus, I relax by reading books.

I am a part-time employee of TecDec Ltd and a third-year business student at Turku University of Applied Sciences.
At TecDec Ltd, I completed my first internship during my studies, and I have been with TecDec ever since. My tasks include drafting and editing sales and marketing materials, maintaining an online store, processing orders, invoicing, customer service and social media.
I have gained experience in versatile tasks, from handling different types of customer encounters to managing various sales channels. Thanks to our great team and the positive atmosphere, I enjoy working at TecDec a lot. Here everyone’s opinions and ideas are appreciated.
In my free time, I draw and bake, as well as read books and go jogging.
